Welcome to Geelong Boxing Club

Geelong’s home of movement, mentorship, and meaningful change.

This isn’t just a gym.
It’s a socially prescribed wellbeing hub where movement meets mindset and where growth happens from the inside out.

Founded by World Champion Steve Moxon and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner Lena Moxon, we’ve built something rare: a place where world class boxing coaching sits alongside evidence based support for confidence, regulation, and resilience.

We work with kids, teens, and families, using boxing as a tool to build emotional intelligence, focus, and belonging inside and beyond the gym.

Family run and North Geelong grown, this club was built for the community, by the community.

When you train here, you’re not just part of a program, you’re part of a movement redefining what health, strength, and connection look like.

If you’ve ever felt unseen in traditional fitness spaces, welcome home.
You belong here.

KIDS PROGRAM

Ages 5–8 & 9–12

This isn’t about competition, it’s about confidence.
Our Kids Program blends foundational boxing skills with emotional regulation and social learning, using movement as a tool for focus and self belief.

Each session combines skill development, teamwork, and guided reflection in a safe, structured, non contact format. Children learn coordination, balance, and discipline while building empathy, courage, and connection.

Led by World Champion Steve Moxon and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner Lena Moxon, our approach is grounded in research, trauma informed practice, and a deep understanding of how children grow and thrive.

We’re proud to be recognised for our evidence based, socially prescribed model a program that builds strength without pressure, and confidence without competition.

Small groups. Big growth.

TEEN PROGRAM

Ages 13–16

Where world-class boxing meets evidence-based mentoring.
Our Teen Program is built around the Positive Youth Development (PYD) framework a strengths based model proven to build competence, confidence, connection, character, and caring.

Each session develops technical boxing skill, emotional regulation, and leadership through structure, reflection, and meaningful connection. Teens learn to manage energy, handle pressure, and lead with purpose; skills that translate directly to school, sport, and life.

Led by two time World Champion Steve Moxon, a national youth mentor and contributor to the Ask a Mate and BEYOND DV initiatives, and Lena Moxon, a qualified educator and Child & Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner nominated for the 2025 Geelong Leadership Awards, this program is recognised as a regional benchmark for prevention and wellbeing in youth sport.

Each teen becomes part of a movement redefining strength from aggression to awareness, from competition to connection.

ADULTS PROGRAM

Expert Coaching.

No mirrors. No machines. No gimmicks.
Our adult sessions combine authentic boxing technique with targeted resistance and conditioning to build strength, endurance, and clarity of mind.

Each workout is grounded in function, focus, and form — designed to challenge without overwhelm. Sessions are accessible, effective, and supported by expert coaching that prioritises wellbeing, not ego.

Led by World Champion Steve Moxon, this is training with integrity; physical, mental, and emotional.

Here, movement isn’t punishment, it’s practice for life.
Every punch builds presence. Every session strengthens focus.

For adults who want more than fitness; for those who want depth, discipline, and community.
