Beyond Boxing: Connect Through Movement
Geelong Boxing Club | North Geelong
Sunday 13th September, 2:00-3:00pm
Parents & Caregivers + Kids  5-15 Years Old

In a world of screens, schedules and split focus, real connection has become the rarest gift you can give a child. This is 60 minutes of pure, distraction free presence, built on a simple truth: kids feel loved not through what we say, but through how we show up in their world.

Beyond Boxing is Geelong Boxing Club's award winning program (ASPIRE Social Prescribing Award), where boxing becomes the doorway to something deeper.

You'll train together, one adult and one child, guided by three time world champion Steve Moxon and child and adolescent mental health practitioner Lena Moxon.

Steve brings decades of experience as a coach. Lena brings a background in child and adolescent mental health, with a focus on how connection and communication shape a young person's confidence.

Together, they've built a session designed around one goal: helping you and your child feel truly connected, in your bodies, together.

In this session, you'll:
🥊 Learn how to hold pads and throw basic boxing combos, together
🤝 Build trust and confidence through movement and encouragement
💬 Get dedicated, uninterrupted time to simply be with each other, supported by Steve and Lena's guidance

No experience needed. No pressure to be good at it. Just you, your child, and an hour where nothing else gets to compete for your attention.

$60 per pair (one adult + one child)
All equipment provided. Just bring your energy.

Perfect for parents, grandparents, guardians, carers, aunts, uncles, or any trusted adult ready to show a young person in their life that they matter, through action, not words.

Please note, each child needs their own dedicated adult for the full session. One adult cannot pad hold for two children at once, since the whole point is undivided, one on one presence.

Spaces are limited. This is a small, hands on session by design, so it won't stay open long. Book now and give the gift of connection.
