Why We Are Doing This

The First Responders Challenge was created to bring our community together in a way that celebrates strength, service, and connection.

Organised by Lena Moxon, founder of Geelong Boxing Club and Beyond Boxing, this event reflects her ongoing commitment to building community through in person experiences that inspire resilience, regulation, and real human connection.

By teaming up with FRV Fire Station 62, we’re giving our members the chance to train alongside local role models, learn about composure under pressure, and experience what leadership looks like when it’s grounded in calm and purpose.

This is what community in action looks like and we’re proud to be building it, together.
